REAL Gaming Girls Needed for Geek Calendar Modeling
Alliance Crossroads, a live-action role playing (LARP) club in New York, is looking for real gaming girls to be featured in their upcoming calendar. Unlike other “gamer” products that cater to males, with photos of models in superhero underwear, this calendar will feature girls who really love gaming.
From the site:
Welcome to the Second Edition look at our neighbors and fellow nerds: the women who game. Unlike most so-called “gamer chick” products, this calendar is composed of actual gamers – girls that throw dice, hit RenFaire and GenCon in the same weekend, and can pwn you at WoW.
If you’re curious about the calendar project, or or want to apply to participate, go here. You can also purchase the current 2011 calendar from the site.
