Jon Snow Costume – Ready to Wear

Perhaps you don’t have the time or inclination to make your own Jon Snow (Game of Thrones) costume. In that case, we’ve done a little research to see what’s available to buy and wear right away. Here is one of the closest we’ve found. If you order one of these costumes and do a little bit of tweaking, you will look like you just came from The Wall.

Medieval King Adult Costume - Medieval Costumes
This Medieval King costume is from Costume Craze, and includes:

  • Tunic W/Chainmail Cowl
  • Gloves
  • Fur-Trimmed Cape
  • Boot Covers
  • Sculpted Belt
  • Crown

For the purposes of making a Jon Snow costume, we’d suggest leaving the crown at home, and finding a shaggy black wig instead. The fur-trimmed cape is perfect for a man of the Night’s Watch, so definitely keep that!

You might also want to tone down the fancy belt. Paint it black or color it with a marker so it doesn’t look so nice. In fact, if you want to make the whole costume a bit blacker, you could probably do that with fabric dye or spray paint.

Finish off the look with a bit of a mustache and beard scruff. If you can’t grow your own, dab it on with a sponge and some dark costume make-up.

This costume is on sale now for about $145US. If you find any other suitable substitutes, please leave a comment so we can check them out!
